'Petit Challenge' Course

You can practice twice within the allotted 30 to 40 minutes, then take your solo flight.

'Challenge' Course

You can fly as much as you want for 90 minutes.

'Petit Challenge' Course

Among all aerial sports, paragliding is the most accessible.
Even first-timers can take on the challenge and experience floating through the air.
After practising some basic flying techniques, you will be able to operate the glider all on your own and glide at low altitude.
The key to success is to keep facing forward and run without hesitation.
After registering in the morning, you can practice twice within the allotted 30 to 40 minutes, then take your solo flight.

'Challenge' Course

After practicing some basic flying techniques, you will be able to operate the glider by yourself at low altitude.
If the wind is suitable and you control the glider well, you can easily fly in a straight line for several meters. Remember to relax, follow the instructions on how to handle the glider and just keep flying!
After registering in the morning, you can fly as much as you want for 90 minutes.

the process

If meeting at 9:00 (meeting times will vary depending on seasons and your individual booking)

Upon booking, we will discuss with you and give you more details regarding possible times, etc.
Let us know the number of persons you wish to book your preferred time.

1 to 3 days before your scheduled Challenge flight

When you book, we will discuss dates and times with you, as well as other flight details.
Please let us know how many people you are booking for, and your preferred flight times.

On the day of your 'Challenge' flight

If you are arriving by train (JR), get off at Yoshitomi station where we will pick you up.
If you are arriving by car, please make your way to the site directly.

(For those doing the 'Challenge', you can still have two or three attempts as long as time allows.)

If you are feeling up to it, you can fly as many times as you want within the alotted time.

For those doing the additional 'Tandem Course', we will move to the Para-Park Kyoto.
After getting ready, please consult the schedule.

What to bring with you?

  • Long-sleeved top & full-length trousers

  • Comfortable walking shoes(*1)

  • Gloves or work gloves

  • A camera strap to avoid falls(*2)

    * if you wish to take pictures

  • Cold weather clothing(*3)

  • Personal seal (inkan) / Proof of insurance (insurance card)(*4)

  • Change of clothes(*5)

  • *1...High ankle shoes such as hiking boots and shoes with a thick sole are ideal. Note: there is no need to purchase some just for the occasion.
  • *2...We can lend you a special holder so your camera does not fall.
  • *3...The air up there will be cold in spring, autumn and winter so we recommend bringing windproof clothes.
  • *4...This is necessary to register for accident insurance in case of injury.
  • *5...You may get soil or other marks on your clothes.
